Announcement Of The China National Certification And Accreditation Administration For RoHS In Electrical And Electronic Products
On January 22, 2024, the National Certification and Accreditation Administration of China issued the "Announcement on Adjusting the Applicable Standards for Testing Methods of the Conformity Assessment System for Restricted Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products."
The National Certification and Accreditation Administration adjusts the applicable standards for testing methods of the conformity assessment system for Restricted Use of Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic products from GB/T 26125 to the GB/T 39560 series standards.
The relevant requirements as follows:
1. From March 1, 2024, new applications should be implemented in accordance with the GB/T 39560 series standards.
2. If the conformity assessment is completed in accordance with GB/T 26125 before March 1, 2024, the standard conversion will be completed through natural transition methods such as expiration of certificate renewal and product changes.
3. Products that have been shipped or imported before March 1, 2024 do not need to implement standard conversion.
